Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– Where are you from?
– Do you live in a house or a flat?
– What do you like most about your home?
– In your hometown, do most people live in houses or apartments?
– Why do you think people prefer that type of accommodation?
– Has the type of housing in your hometown changed over time?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a person you know who always helps others. You should say:
– who this person is
– how you know them
– what they do to help other people
and explain why you think this person is willing to help others.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Why do you think children should be taught to help elderly people?
– What are the benefits of encouraging young people to support older generations?
– How can schools teach children to be more helpful?
– Do you think people are less willing to help others nowadays? Why or why not?
– What role does family play in teaching children to care for others?
– How can communities encourage people to support those in need?
