Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– Do you work or are you a student?
– Why did you choose your current subject or field of work?
– Are there any other subjects you would like to study in the future?
– What is your favourite colour, and why?
– Do you wear glasses or contact lenses?
– What was the latest movie you watched?
– Do you think laughter is important in daily life?
– Do you believe a movie is successful mainly because of its cast?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a film you enjoyed watching recently. You should say:
– what the film was about
– when and where you watched it
– who you watched it with
and explain why you enjoyed it.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Why do some people enjoy going to the cinema more than watching films at home?
– Do you think film reviews influence people’s choices?
– Is a strong storyline more important than famous actors?
– Why do certain films become popular globally?
– How do films reflect a country’s culture or values?
– Do you think watching movies can be educational?
