IELTS General training is good for those who need English language proficiency to show qualifications to study below a degree level and migrate to English-speaking countries such as the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

It assesses an individual ability to listen, read, write and speak in English and is conducted in either a computer or paper-based format. It is graded on a band scale of 0 to 9.
